Athens International Airport: Installation of X-ray Tomographs

Project Description

The main object of the project involves the installation of two X-ray XT2100 Tomographs control systems by NUCTECH in place of 2 old Morpho CTX9000DSi systems (No. G112 and G115) in the Airport’s North and South Baggage Room.

According to the EU EDS – 3 standard, each device provides higher performance than the older CTX9000DSi. At the same time, the project maintains the two existing CTX9000DSi units (No. G340 and G369) to be used as backup units in the event of emergency repairs of the new XT2100.

The main feature of the project is the upgrading of the luggage area L3 according to the EU EDS-3 standard, installing new Tomograph (CT) EDS systems with the minimum possible modifications and cost.
