Access Control System at the new PCC BakkiSilicon Silicon Factory in Iceland

Project Description

The aim of the project is to source & install a integrated Security System in one of the most advanced and environmentally friendly silicon production facilities in the world. Overall, the project includes the design and integration of a modern Fire Detection System, Smoke Suction System, Firefighting Activation System, Early Fire Detection System through special cameras, Closed Circuit Television System and Access Control System.

The modern Access Control System, which is based on BOSCH technology, includes:

• 30 x BOSCH Network Access Control Panels of 4 readers of the AMC2 series
• 4 x BOSCH 16 Entry / Exit Extension Cards for AMC2 Series Controllers
• 28 x BOSCH protection boxes with power supply and single mounting rail
• 2 x BOSCH protection boxes with power supply and dual mounting rail
• 61 x BOSCH Outdoor Card Readers of the LECTUS duo-3000E/MF/EV1 series
• 62 x Request to Exit Buttons & 62 Heavy Port Contacts
• 1 x BOSCH APE-v3x Core Access Control & Management Software
• 1 x BOSCH APE-v3x Extension Software
• 5 x BOSCH APE-v3x Operational Clients Software
• 1 x BOSCH APE-v3x CCTV System Integration Software
• 1 x BOSCH APE-v3x Alarm System Integration Software
• 1 x HIGH PERFORMANCE BOSCH Server
• 1 x BOSCH High Performance PC Client
• 2 x BOSCH High Performance 21.5″ LED CCTV Screens

All work on integration & programming of the above BOSCH systems is carried out by our company.
